With the release of its all-new 5th generation Directed SmartStart app, connecting with and controlling your vehicle is easier than ever. This app allows you to start, lock, and unlock your car from anywhere. Additionally, you can locate your car, share its location with others, and receive safety notifications if your car is speeding or goes where it shouldn't.

To enhance your connected car experience, you can install a Directed SmartStart Digital System. This will provide you with engine runtime and real-time status information right on the app dashboard. You can also receive notifications if your vehicle sets a diagnostic code, or check fuel, battery, or odometer information within the app.

All 4G LTE GPS modules come with a free 30-day trial so you can experience the app's features immediately. There's even an option for a year of free Basic service. If you want even more control and monitoring capabilities, you can upgrade to Secure service or add GPS or Small Fleet & Family options for extended warranty and theft protection.

The Directed SmartStart 5.3 mobile app features sleek and modern dashboards. With this app, you can easily control various functions of your installed Viper remote start or security/remote start system, including lock/arm, unlock/disarm, remote car starter, trunk release, panic button, and auxiliary channels.

To get started with Directed SmartStart:

2. Install a SmartStart system in your vehicle
3. Set up your account and start using your SmartStart system

Directed SmartStart also comes with the Directed Motor Club, which provides 24/7 access to a nationwide roadside assistance network. With just a button press in the app, you can connect for towing, battery assistance, or flat tire help. Member roadside assistance is free with Secure or higher level service plans, and there is also a guest program available at a fixed cost.
